'Cause it takes time and a bloody lot of effort to put together an apocalypse. From what I've heard, he had plenty of time to put the first one together, had power and connections he hasn't got here. If he even wanted to, he'd be starting from scratch, I reckon. The worst he'd have to deal with back home was other Avatars, here he's got all sorts of people that'd take issue with him.
